Overview
Some trucks have the ability to perform an “Emissions Regen” when the truck detects a build-up of ash or soot in the truck’s emissions system. A truck becomes inoperable when it is in the regen process. This can become a problem if the truck begins to regen when the driver does not expect it to.
The Emissions Regen feature allows us to create an alert (Email, SMS, or to the tablet) letting the alert recipient know that the truck has crossed the defined threshold for regen. This will allow the driver to perform the regen at a time that will not impact operations.

Tablet, DF+ Bridge and CAN Bus Harness
Functionality
When enabled the following data is collected and stored for the Truck. We will only store the most recently submitted regen data.
-
ashPercentage - The current % of ash for the truck
-
sootPercentage - The current % of soot for the truck
-
threshold - The % threshold that will trigger a regen
-
lastRegenTimestamp - The last time a regen was done for the truck
If provided by the Truck, the data will be displayed in the WebApp on the Digital Fleet+ tab of the Truck Dashboard.
Emissions Regen Warning Threshold
If enabled, a threshold can be specified to trigger a Vehicle Issues alert that can be sent to the Tablet or specified alert recipients, via SMS or Email. The threshold value indicates the amount of percentage points prior to reaching the trucks regen threshold (this can vary from truck to truck) at which to trigger the alert. The threshold alert will be cleared once the Ash and Soot % drop below the configured alert threshold.
Example: If a truck's regen threshold is 80%, a threshold value of 10 would trigger an alert to be sent when the Ash or Soot % reaches 70%
When adding the Alert, the Type will be "Vehicle Issues" and the Vehicle Issue will be "Emissions Regen Threshold Crossed"
Driver Tablet Application
When Emissions Regen is enabled for the tablet, a "Current Regen Status" will be available on the display.
If a threshold is specified, the data will display red when the percent is above the acceptable threshold.
