API Usage Notice

At Digital Fleet, we provide APIs that allow you to read data for your construction vehicles on our platform. Before you start using our APIs, we'd like to provide you with some helpful information to supplement our API documentation.

Our APIs are provided "as-is," which means we don't make any guarantees about their performance or suitability for any particular purpose. While we try our best to keep calls consistent within an API version, we may need to make changes due to emergent situations. Please note that we may update or modify the API or documentation at any time. We also may place reasonable rate limits on requests to avoid overuse. If you exceed 5 API requests per 10 seconds, you may be throttled.

We encourage you to review the documentation thoroughly. It's important to note that leveraging REST APIs may require a certain level of technical expertise and familiarity with API integration. Our APIs are typically leveraged by software development and IT teams. If you require additional assistance or expertise in integrating and utilizing the APIs effectively, Digital Fleet is pleased to offer custom development services at our normal contracted rates.

NOTE: Development on our APIs requires provisioning of a security key.  When you are prepared to start API development, reach out to our Support team to request creation of a new API key.  Please guard this API key as you would any critical password. For your security, we reserve the right to deactivate API keys if it is associated with a performance or security issue.
