This document is to outline the differences between the default and driver configurable behaviors of the DigiTrack driver application.
Default behavior
- Automatic screen transitions
- Moves to map screen in following instances
- To Job status manual selection or automatic update
- To Yard status manual selection or automatic update
- Moving speed > 10 mph and current status is To Job or To Yard
- Moving speed > 25 mph
- Moving speed > 25 mph OR Moving speed > 10 mph and current status is To Job or To Yard
- Limited button availability
- Suppresses non-priority messages
- Removes Reply option in priority message pop up
- Disables selection of DigiTrack overlay when in Google Maps app
- Moves to main screen in following instances
- After being stopped for 2 minutes in Arrive Job status
- Upon Arrive Yard status update
- Moves to map screen in following instances
Driver preference options
- Zoom to truck when moving (Google)
- When enabled keeps truck centered on the DigiTrack overview map
- Automatic screen transitions (when moving and on the To Job/To Yard statuses)
- When disabled
- Keeps driver on following selected screens regardless of current status or moving speed:
- Main HUD
- Ticket
- Map
- DVIR
- Login History
- Fuel
- Preferences
- Keeps driver on following selected screens regardless of current status or moving speed:
- Moving speed > 25 mph OR Moving speed > 10 mph and current status is To Job or To Yard
- Limited button availability
- Suppresses non-priority messages
- Removes Reply option in priority message pop up
- Disables selection of DigiTrack overlay when in Google Maps app
- Transitions to the map screen if on the following screens:
- Messaging
- Status List
- ELD
- Menu
- When disabled
- Launch straight to turn-by-turn navigation (on "To Job" and "To Yard")
- When this and automatic screen transitions are enabled, manual selection or automatic updates to the To Job or To Yard statuses will go directly to Google Maps to start turn by turn navigation.
- Main/Sub Navigation Text Sizes
- Changes size of the top navigation bar on the Ticket and Messaging screens
- Changes size of the top navigation bar on the Ticket and Messaging screens
- Keyboard Size
- Changes size of the custom keyboard used on the Ticket and Messaging screens
