Overview
The Digital Fleet integration to Lytx sends Digital Fleet driver login and logout times to Lytx to identify the driver operating the vehicle when an event occurs. Digital Fleet only sends information to Lytx whenever a driver logout occurs (Lytx requires both login and logout times to be sent in a single message).
API Setup
The customer is required to do the following for API connectivity:
- Make a formal request to Lytx support to have a Dispatch API user created and an endpoint URL for integration with Digital Fleet. The Dispatch API user must have access to the "SubmitDriverDispatchLogs" Lytx API.
- The following information must be provided by the customer to Digital Fleet
- API endpoint URL
- Dispatch API Username
- Dispatch API Password
User Setup
In order to identify Lytx users in Digital Fleet, a Lytx Id must be added to the Digital Fleet users information. If no Lytx Id is specified for the user, Digital Fleet will send Lytx the users Driver Pin as default.
If the users do not have the Lytx Id field available under the Integrations tab, please contact support@digitalfleet.com to enable the Lytx Integration.
Truck Setup
Option 1: Have the Lytx truck name exactly match the Digital Fleet truck name.
Option 2: If the Lytx truck name cannot exactly match the Digital Fleet truck name, then the trucks Lytx Id must be specified in the Digital Fleet truck settings.
If the trucks do not have the Lytx Id field available under the Integrations tab, please contact support@digitalfleet.com to enable the Lytx Integration.
